Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting, monitoring and managing critically ill patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient status, progress, and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate emergency interventions as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or through a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced critical care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
