Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting within a 328-bed acute care hospital
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes
- Uphold patient safety standards and contribute to a culture of quality, compassionate care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Louisiana
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required prior to submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or Level II/III trauma emergency department
- Strong triage assessment and critical thinking skills in emergent patient scenarios
- Familiarity with Joint Commission accreditation standards and compliance requirements
