Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x12-hour shifts | Projected Start: October 12, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of emergency patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Be willing to float as needed within the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN License (required)
- BLS Certification (required)
- ACLS Certification (required)
- PALS Certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Facility is Trauma Level III, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving — candidates must be comfortable in this environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale certification recommended but not required
