Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
Manage a patient ratio of 6:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support positive patient outcomes
Document patient information and care activities accurately within the facility's EMR system

Required Qualifications

Active Compact or Alabama RN License required
BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
