Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00–15:30 | Includes weekends and holidays | On-call required (schedule to be discussed during interview; expected call hours: Mon–Fri 15:30–20:00, Sat–Sun 08:00–20:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols and standards of care
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals, including via venipuncture, in compliance with applicable regulations
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately within the EPIC electronic health records system
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled, including weekend and holiday coverage
• Complete required facility compliance modules by assigned deadlines (non-billable, 8 hours)

Required Qualifications

• CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) — required
• California Venipuncture certification — required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) — required
• Minimum 2 years of concurrent experience in Nuclear Medicine
• Travel experience required
• EPIC experience, or combined EPIC/Cerner experience, within the last 6 months of work history
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates who have been on assignment in the San Diego area for 9 or more months are considered local and are not eligible
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off; no new RTO requests after submittal
• 1 supervisory-level reference required at time of submission
• Valid copies of all required certifications must be submitted with application
• Interview availability required, including time zone (same day and next 3 business days preferred)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume radiology or cardiology setting
• Familiarity with both EPIC and Cerner electronic health record platforms
• Prior travel assignment experience in a similar acute care environment
