Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Day Shift (7A–7P) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 22-bed Progressive Care Unit serving adult cardiac populations, including cardiac observation, post cardiac cath lab patients, and cardioversion patients
• Monitor patients via telemetry equipment and respond appropriately to changes in cardiac status
• Maintain a 4:1 patient ratio while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Document patient assessments and care plans accurately using the Paragon EHR system
• Float to other units as required per facility float policy
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible for practice in North Carolina
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Step-down or ICU experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum required education
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient populations
• Familiarity with Paragon EHR system
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
