Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team
- Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all clinical decision-making
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system as part of daily clinical workflow
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification required
- EPIC experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
