Contract | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 3x12s | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend | Every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a MedSurg/Telemetry unit in an acute care setting
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to similar units as needed to support staffing requirements
- Complete a telemetry competency test during first-day orientation
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN License required
- BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) required
- Prior telemetry experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with MediTech electronic health records system
- Familiarity with floating to similar acute care units
