Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to ICU-level patients within a specialized overflow area of the Emergency Department
Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients in alignment with ICU standards of care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and transitions
Perform and document NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) assessments as required
Adapt to a block scheduling model, with shifts currently structured Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

Required Qualifications

Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
NIHSS certification required
ICU clinical experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Emergency Department (ED) experience in addition to ICU background
Comfort working in evolving, pilot-program environments with flexible scheduling needs
