Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and those in the delivery process
Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient outcomes
Administer medications and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical findings accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

ACLS and/or NRP certification
Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
