Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and clinical goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility required
- Professional SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) experience is required
- Expected 30 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a split or multi-site position
- Familiarity with SNF documentation and billing requirements
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
