Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols and standards of care
- Operate GE nuclear medicine equipment to acquire and process diagnostic images
- Perform venipuncture as required for radiopharmaceutical administration
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately within EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care and accurate diagnostic outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience
- Active New York State Radiology Technologist License required
- ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification required (either accepted)
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Venipuncture experience required
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS required
- GE nuclear medicine machine experience required
- Must have own personal vehicle — firm requirement
- Candidates residing in the following New York counties are not eligible for this assignment: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CT imaging experience is a plus
- Previous travel assignment experience strongly encouraged
