Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department with a 4:1 patient ratio across a 12-bed unit
- Perform and assist with high-acuity procedures including STEMI response, Stroke/TPA administration, and RSI
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including ER Techs and unit support staff across day shift operations
- Utilize the facility's EMR system to document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Maintain BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, CPI, and TNCC certifications and apply competencies in a high-energy clinical environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- ENPC or PALS certification required
- CPI and TNCC certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong background in Neuro and Cardiac nursing within an emergency care setting
- Experience thriving in a high-energy, fast-paced emergency department environment
- Familiarity with STEMI, Stroke/TPA, and RSI protocols
