Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 22-bed freestanding emergency department with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Perform procedures including IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting
• Operate and monitor equipment such as defibrillators, Hamilton Vents, Welch Allyn devices, and bedside cardiac monitors
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR (transitioning from Meditech Magic to Meditech Expanse)
• Maintain ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications throughout the assignment
• Float to an alternate freestanding emergency department location as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (Texas or compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• CPI certification required
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification
• NRP certification
• Experience in a freestanding emergency department setting
• Strong teamwork orientation and patient experience focus
