Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Float between Medical Surgical units as required
- Document patient care and clinical information using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit-specific protocols, scrub color requirements (black), and scheduling policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required (must be obtained within 6 months of start date)
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience working in a high-census Medical Surgical environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to floating between units
