Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting throughout the duration of surgical procedures
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required by the surgical team
- Participate in on-call rotation, including one to three 12-hour call shifts per 6-week schedule covering Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
- Remain available for extended shifts up to two hours past the standard shift end time, approximately 1–2 days per week (until 1915)
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, surgical protocols, and patient safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Idaho or compact state eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work day shifts from 0645–1715
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations including weekend and holiday coverage
- Flexibility to stay beyond standard shift end time as operationally needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Operating Room or perioperative nursing environment
- Familiarity with scrub and circulating roles across multiple surgical specialties
- Experience managing on-call responsibilities in a fast-paced surgical setting
