Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities
Work to reduce aspiration risks through evidence-based therapeutic interventions
Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services within the facility
Ensure all services are provided in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and established facility policies and procedures
Provide appropriate care and services to residents in a long term care setting

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of SLP experience
Active Texas state license or compact license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a long term care or skilled nursing facility environment
Familiarity with short-term rehabilitation settings
