Job Title
Travel RN – Burn ICU
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ICU-level nursing care to adult burn patients in a 6-bed Burn ICU with acuity-based patient ratios
- Perform and assist with unit procedures including debridement, dressing changes, line insertion, chest tube insertion and maintenance, and post-operative procedural care
- Operate and monitor equipment including Alaris IV pumps, GE cardiac monitoring, and AirStrip for cardiac rhythm assessment
- Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and hemodynamic drip titration; support CRRT as needed
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
- Adhere to bedside shift report requirements and uphold patient experience standards including courtesy, respect, and patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of ICU-level experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- Cardiac rhythm proficiency required
- Willingness to float to like units (ICU/PCU/CCU) as needed; travel/agency staff are first to float when required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Burn unit experience strongly preferred
- NIH certification preferred
- CRRT training preferred
- ABLS certification preferred
