Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
- Document patient information and care accurately in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Adhere to all scheduling requirements, including every other weekend and every other holiday coverage
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Emergency Room clinical experience
- Ability to commit to the assigned shift schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays
- Please note: this position is unable to accommodate pre-approved time off or scheduling requests
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS and/or TNCC certification
- Experience with high-volume or Level II/III trauma emergency environments
- Strong triage assessment and critical thinking skills
