Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30) | Minimum 10-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to an assigned caseload of 8–12 adult and geriatric home health patients
• Conduct evaluations and deliver treatment within a 35-mile mileage territory
• Document patient care and progress using Cerner electronic health records
• Complete a second set of fingerprints upon arrival for CYFD clearance, required for all home health travelers due to potential presence of children in patient homes
• Obtain or maintain active MOAB certification; travelers without existing certification must complete and pass a 4-hour de-escalation course during the first week of the assignment
• Float within scope of practice as needed to meet operational demands

Required Qualifications

• Active New Mexico Occupational Therapist license (pending licensure may be considered at time of submission)
• NBCOT certification required
• MOAB certification required (or must be obtained and passed during orientation week; failure to pass may result in contract cancellation)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; non-local driver's license required on file

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations in a home health setting
• Familiarity with Cerner charting platform
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
