Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Typically 8-hour shifts (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM) with rotating call; 4x10-hour shifts may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Rotating call includes Friday night, expected 24-hour coverage on Saturday, and back-up call on Sunday — approximately one weekend per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans using Bayer/MedRad injector equipment, supporting an expected volume of approximately 80 scans per month
• Provide imaging services across Outpatient, Inpatient, and ED settings, with a majority of caseload consisting of Outpatient and Orthopedic cases
• Operate and maintain Siemens imaging equipment and document patient information using Meditech charting system
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule, including weekend coverage as assigned
• Support CT imaging as needed (preferred but not required), utilizing a 40-slice CT system with dual-head injector

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License required
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association required
• Reliable personal transportation is necessary, as ride-share services are not available in the area

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience operating CT imaging equipment, particularly 40-slice systems with dual-head injectors
• Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment and Meditech electronic charting
• Experience in a multi-modality imaging environment including X-Ray, CT, and MRI
