Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (Float Pool)

Key Responsibilities

• Float to all critical care floors as part of a float pool assignment
• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room, with limited patient assignments when assigned to active ER areas
• Support ER hold, MTC/Step-Down, and PACU hold areas as needed
• Deliver high-acuity patient care in an intensive care setting within a large hospital environment
• Document patient care and clinical information using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU or critical care experience in a similarly sized facility
• Ability to float across multiple critical care units and settings
• Limited time-off requests expected during the contract period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior float pool experience in a critical care environment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Experience in Emergency Room, Step-Down, or PACU settings
