Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Orientation held weekly on Mondays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in an acute care operating room setting
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required by the department
- Adhere to facility protocols, Joint Commission standards, and infection control guidelines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
- Support a Level 3 Trauma-designated facility serving a broad regional patient population
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
- Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a trauma or high-acuity acute care surgical environment
- Familiarity with orthopedic, cardiovascular, or stroke-related surgical procedures
- Experience working in a Joint Commission accredited facility
