Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Level I trauma center operating room environment, supporting ortho, trauma, spine, neuro, and general surgical cases
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout perioperative care>
• Participate in on-call coverage, including up to 8 weekday call shifts and up to 9 twelve-hour weekend call shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per 13-week period, with a 30-minute recall requirement
• Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration via BCMA
• Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and charting
• Work every 3rd weekend as needed and be available to work 2 facility-recognized holidays during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or a valid, participating compact RN license — Required
• BLS Certification — Required
• ACLS Certification — Required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
• Experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro (specifically craniotomies) required
• Level I trauma experience required; highly skilled clinicians with recent Level II trauma experience in a like-size or larger facility may be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Experience in a teaching hospital environment
• Comfort with floating within the facility or to affiliate locations based on skills and census needs
