Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Manage a patient schedule of up to 2 patients at the top of the hour and design functional treatment programs to support effective return to community activities
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients while ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Colorado
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
• Commitment to patient and employee safety standards, including safe patient handling and infection control protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Experience supervising or mentoring PT students
• Active involvement in continuing education and professional development activities
