Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with a 26-bed capacity, supporting high-risk labor, C-sections, antepartum, and postpartum patients
- Manage patient ratios including 1:1 for high-risk labor and C-sections, 1:2 for antepartum/PPROM/PTL on mag and PP on mag, and 1:3 for PP mag without baby and outpatients
- Perform and assist with procedures including C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler monitoring
- Operate unit equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN (GE) monitors; document using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
- Collaborate within a team nursing approach, supporting fellow nurses and contributing to unit staffing needs
- Adhere to unit-specific policies including oxytocin protocol
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- EFM-C or AWHONN certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience circulating C-sections
- High-risk LDR experience
