Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients throughout the labor and delivery process
- Circulate for cesarean section procedures in the OR setting
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns and respond appropriately to changes in maternal-fetal status
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Float to postpartum unit as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with Meditech/CPN EMR platform
