Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel Contract)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 48-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes charge nurses, CNAs, and mid-shift support staff, with staffing levels adjusted based on patient volume
• Utilize the Meditech EMR system to document and manage patient records accurately
• Perform a full range of emergency nursing procedures using available unit equipment
• Adhere to unit dress code requirements, including navy scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC, ALS, or ENPC certification
• Emergency nursing certification such as CEN, PEN, or equivalent
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-volume emergency department
