MRI Technologist – Weekday Overnight

Contract | Onsite | Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM | Holidays per unit needs | 17-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment efficiently and perform diagnostic imaging procedures in coordination with physicians
• Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout the process
• Insert IVs as required for imaging procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant scanning environment
• Document all procedures accurately while maintaining strict patient confidentiality
• Perform patient care tasks as needed to support unit operations

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Radiology, or a related field
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
• Injection certification required to be considered
• GE scanner experience required to be considered
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum of two (2) years of MRI Technologist experience
• NYS Radiologic Technology license required; candidates must be willing to obtain if not already held upon start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• Familiarity with medical terminology and radiology documentation standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
