Registered Nurse – Special Procedures (IR/Special Procedures)

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients within the Radiology/Special Procedures department
• Administer IV sedation to patients undergoing radiology procedures
• Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary radiology team to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Adhere to facility holiday scheduling requirements, including coverage for designated major and minor holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty
• Background in ICU, Emergency Room, or PACU required if Radiology RN experience is not held
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Radiology RN experience strongly preferred
• Experience administering IV sedation in a procedural or clinical setting
• Familiarity with special procedures workflows and radiology department protocols
