Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients at a 1:1 ratio, with experience across geriatric, neurologic, and orthopedic populations
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including adaptive/assistive-device evaluation, body mechanics, pain, sensory response, skin integrity, strength testing, and vital signs
• Develop and document plans of care, short-term goals, discharge summaries, and evaluations using Net Health and PowerChart/Cerner
• Deliver patient and family education including home exercise programs, medication education, safety and injury prevention, and recognition of signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, or psychological abuse
• Utilize equipment including crutches, gait belts, lower-extremity prosthetics, shoulder slings, soft/hard collars, and traction tables
• Float within the physical therapy department within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland state PT license or compact PT license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of physical therapy experience; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Outpatient clinic experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Manual Therapy experience required
• Experience with documentation systems including Net Health and PowerChart/Cerner preferred; familiarity with assessment, evaluation, and plan-of-care documentation required
• Local candidates are welcome

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Dry Needling experience preferred
• Hand Therapy experience preferred
• Experience with geriatric and neurologic patient populations in an outpatient setting
