Travel RN – Emergency Room (Nights)

Key Responsibilities
- Hold shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience in a hospital setting
- ACLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- PALS certification required (American Heart Association)
- NRP and TNCC certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience working in a community hospital setting, either in a permanent or contract capacity
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in emergency department environments
