Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting
• Float to other ICUs, Med/Surg/Telemetry, and Progressive Care units as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements — three weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Maintain availability for holiday shifts as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee RN license or active compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg/Telemetry experience
• Epic EMR experience within the past 18 months, clearly documented on candidate profile; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt allowed)
• Two supervisory references required at time of submission
• Candidates requiring fit testing must be clean-shaven; failures due to facial hair will not be accepted
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuro ICU or similar critical care environment
• Comfort with floating across multiple units including Progressive Care and Med/Surg/Telemetry
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic in an acute care setting
