Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities
• Work to reduce aspiration risks through evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services within the facility
• Ensure all services are provided in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and established facility policies and procedures
• Deliver appropriate care and services to residents in a long term care setting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of SLP experience (Required)
• Active Texas state license or compact license (Required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a long term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Familiarity with short-term rehabilitation settings
• Experience with dysphagia management and augmentative communication strategies
