Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services across multiple care settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) populations
• Treat patients of all ages and diagnoses within a critical access hospital environment
• Support specialty therapy areas including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric services
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs across outpatient, acute care, and SNF settings as required
• Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Alaska Physical Therapist license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Must be able to submit 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• All requested time off and scheduling preferences must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with pediatric and adolescent patient populations
• Background in specialty therapy areas such as wound care, lymphedema, or pelvic floor rehabilitation
• Prior experience in a critical access hospital or multi-setting therapy department
