Contract | Days | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday | 6-Month Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient status
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for telemetry patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate safe transitions
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Demonstrated experience in telemetry or cardiac monitoring nursing
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to arrhythmias

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• ACLS certification
• Experience with electronic health record systems
