Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio across main, fast track, and hall bed areas
• Perform and assist with airway and resuscitation management, procedural sedation, chest tube insertion, wound care, and splinting
• Utilize specialized equipment including Belmont, sono-site machine, Arctic Sun, Bair Hugger, and Lucas device
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including Emergency Resource Nurses and Clinical Staff Support personnel to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain required certifications including Critical Care competency and TNCC

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Critical Care experience required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
• Experience with ultrasound-guided IV placement
• Calm, collaborative demeanor with a patient-first approach and ability to perform effectively under pressure
