Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (12-Hour Mids/Nights)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department averaging approximately 200 patients per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, DKA, respiratory distress, mental health, and adult psychiatric presentations
- Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV access, medication administration including drips, and procedural sedation support
- Administer blood products and cardiac medications; TNK administration experience preferred
- Document accurately and efficiently using the Epic electronic health record system; recent Epic experience is required
- Complete a required Traveler Telemetry Competency exam prior to start date
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department (ED) experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI/MOAB
- Recent Epic EMR experience
- Proficiency with Alaris infusion pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with TNK administration
- Background working in a high-acuity or trauma-level emergency department environment
- Familiarity with central and bedside telemetry monitoring
- Experience with geriatric populations and high-volume STEMI/stroke presentations
