Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend (Friday/Saturday nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit serving adult and geriatric populations including orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury patients
• Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care in accordance with facility standards
• Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Administer and manage medications using Omnicell medication dispensing systems
• Float occasionally to the Med/Surg unit as needed by the facility
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient rehabilitation goals and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
• No call requirements
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Rehabilitation nursing experience, including GG scoring documentation
• CCRN certification preferred but not required
• Experience working with geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, or stroke patient populations
• Collaborative, team-oriented personality with strong interpersonal skills
