Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability
• Perform advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions in a Progressive Care Unit setting
• Apply advanced clinical knowledge and experience to support patient safety and outcomes
• Conduct and document neurological assessments using NIHSS
• Interpret basic EKG rhythms as part of ongoing patient monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider BLS (AHA) required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required (per College of American Pathologists requirements for moderate complexity testing)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior PCU or Step-Down Unit experience
• Basic EKG interpretation experience
