Travel RN – ICU | Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: October 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 36-bed ICU setting with a 1:2–3 patient ratio, with no unit secretary or CNA support
- Operate and monitor advanced equipment including ventilators, Arctic Sun, CRRT machines, rapid infusers, IV medication pumps, cooling blankets, and glucometers
- Administer and titrate critical care IV medications including vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, antiarrhythmics, and paralytics
- Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy, EGD, colonoscopy, wound debridement, and line insertion
- Manage hemodynamic monitoring, PA catheters, and targeted temperature management (TTM)
- Float to other ICUs and IMC as needed per unit floating policy; expected 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (must meet state requirements for Nevada)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU-level unit
- Proficiency with ventilators, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, and CPAP
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, PA catheters, and targeted temperature management (TTM)
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with CRRT and advanced critical care equipment
- Comfort managing a high-acuity patient population with minimal ancillary support
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
