ED RN – Evening Shift (Emergency Room)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Evening Shift (2:00 PM – 2:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during evening shift hours
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Adhere to all workplace safety protocols, including organization-approved workplace violence training
Required Qualifications
- Oregon RN State License required
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience required; recent ER experience is mandatory
- Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years required
- AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- AHA PALS or ENPC certification required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire
- TNCC required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire
- Organization-approved workplace violence training required or must be completed by the last day of the month following the 90-day grace period
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience working in a high-volume or Level II/III emergency department setting
