Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio across a 29-bed unit
• Manage adult patients presenting with diagnoses including sepsis, UTI, AKI, pneumonia, cholecystitis, and CHF
• Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring and neurological assessments using NIHSS
• Float within specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities as required and within scope of practice
• Adhere to scheduled holiday coverage as assignments fall

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions or special scheduling requests
• Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility to be eligible (permanent address)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and management of cardiac or step-down patient populations
• CPI certification (the Calm Every Storm online version is an accepted online option)
