Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Variable Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient transitions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU or relevant clinical experience
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced post-surgical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
• Familiarity with HCA facility systems and workflows
• Experience with diverse patient populations including women's services or NICU-adjacent care environments
