Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN guidelines
• Manage laboring patients including Pitocin administration with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Circulate cesarean section deliveries as a core function of the role
• Perform triage, vaginal delivery support, and antepartum patient care (ratio of 2–3 antepartum patients)
• Operate GE fetal monitoring equipment and document within CPN Meditech EMR
• Fulfill on-call requirements (expected 1–2 shifts per schedule) and float to Mother-Baby as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Demonstrated labor management skills
• Experience circulating cesarean sections — candidates without this skill will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with GE fetal monitoring systems
• Experience with CPN Meditech EMR
• Experience with iron infusions and OB triage
• Strong team-oriented approach with a commitment to positive patient outcomes
