Job Title

Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift

Location

Zanesville, OH | Acute Care / Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, Level III Trauma Center Emergency Department with 38 beds and 2 trauma bays
  • Manage and prioritize care for a diverse patient population in one of Ohio's top 10 busiest emergency departments
  • Participate in every-other-weekend rotation and holiday rotation as required
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality emergency care

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 3 completed Emergency Department travel assignments and/or 3 years of current or recent ED experience
  • Epic EMR proficiency is required — candidates without documented Epic experience will not be considered regardless of ED experience level
  • BLS certification required
  • PALS certification required
  • ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification strongly preferred
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification strongly preferred
  • Experience in a high-volume or trauma-designated emergency department
