Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery and Mother Infant Unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
- Support postpartum (PP) and LDRP care as needed within the unit
- Assist with Level I Nursery care as applicable
- Complete and pass the required Relias Fetal Monitoring course/exam proctored by the unit prior to start — candidates who do not pass will be unable to begin the assignment and may not retest for 6 months
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Must successfully pass the Relias Fetal Monitoring proctored exam prior to assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D), Postpartum (PP), or LDRP settings
- Familiarity with Level I Nursery care
- Previous travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery unit
