Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing facility setting to restore or maintain functional independence
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies to support daily living activities
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Arizona
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing or similar clinical setting
- Ability to fulfill the requirements of a 13-week contract assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) environment
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation requirements and skilled nursing regulations
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
