Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting
- Conduct PET scan procedures (prior PET experience preferred; on-site training available for qualified candidates)
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment in accordance with facility protocols
- Document patient imaging data accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Optionally participate in on-call shifts (Monday–Friday 4:30 AM–10:00 PM; Saturday–Sunday 6:00 AM–10:00 PM) with a 60-minute response time — call is not required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active California State Nuclear Medicine license (no pending licenses accepted)
- NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Must not be a first-time traveler; candidates with at least 2 years of experience may be considered
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard traveler rates; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior PET scan experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Previous travel contract experience
