Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population across Medical Surgical and Medical Surgical Telemetry units
• Float as required to all MS and MS/Tele units within the hospital; floating to a nearby sister campus (approximately 3 miles away) is also possible
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5–6 in accordance with unit standards
• Utilize electronic health record and medication dispensing systems, including Epic (Required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication protocols
• Work every other weekend (an average of 6 weekends over a 13-week contract) and adhere to the facility's holiday work expectations
• Maintain full compliance with onboarding requirements; all compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to the start date

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state, required at time of submission
• Epic proficiency is required — candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests can be made after an offer is extended or once onsite, including during orientation week
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Medical Surgical Telemetry patient populations and diagnoses
• Comfort and flexibility with float pool assignments across multiple units
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems and SBAR communication
